What to Pack For A Trip To Portugal

Updated: Dec 5, 2017

Not sure about what to pack to your trip to Portugal? Here are some tips we leave you for having the best days of your life.

Swim suit – Please don't forget your swimsuits, there are p-l-e-n-t-y beaches you will want to visit!

Sunscreen – You don't want a sunburn as a souvenir, so bring your sunscreen with you. If you’re only travelling with hand luggage you won’t be able to bring it. However, there are plenty pharmacies and supermarkets around here where you can purchase it.

Sunglasses and Hat – Protect your eyes and head from the strong sun and heat.

Beach towel – You will need it both for after the surf classes and to just chill at our amazing beaches along the coast.

Beach shoes – You’re staying at a coastal area, you're coming to the beach everyday so first things first, pack your flip-flops or sandals

European Health Card – If you're taking surf classes with us the insurance is included, but unexpected situations might occur while traveling. If you're european, bring this EU free card that gives you access to medically necessary, state-provided healthcare during your stay. Read more here

Comfortable shoes – The streets of Lisbon consist of cobblestone hills which are very steep and can be very slippery when wet, so pack some shoes that are sturdy and comfortable to walk in.

Layers – Things can get a little chilly in the evenings, so pack light clothing you can layer if needed i.e. pashmina, scarf, cardigan, long-sleeve cotton top etc

Rain gear – Be sure to pack a raincoat or umbrella as it does tend to get quite rainy in the winter months.

Here's also a general packlist if you need it:
